Purva Mestry Ingale
Purva Mestry Ingale is the founder of Krafty Kiddies — a children's publishing and creative learning brand born from her love for stories, education, creativity, and the everyday magic of childhood.
A toddler mom, published storyteller, former marketer, French-language educator and creative learning designer, Purva brings together the many chapters of her own life to create experiences that help children learn, imagine, explore and, most importantly, enjoy being children.
Her journey has always revolved around people, stories and learning. With a background in marketing and digital marketing, Purva developed a strong understanding of communication, storytelling and what makes ideas connect with people. She later moved into education, where she spent over a decade working with children across different age groups, schools and curricula, teaching French and creative writing and heading French departments.
Her years in the classroom taught her something that textbooks alone couldn't: children learn best when they are curious, engaged and having fun. A story can teach empathy. A simple activity can build confidence. A colouring page can become a conversation. A character can help a child understand something they may not yet have the words to express.
Then came motherhood.
Becoming a mother gave Purva a completely new perspective on childhood — this time, not as a teacher standing in front of a classroom, but as a parent experiencing the beautiful, messy, exhausting and wonderfully curious world of early childhood every day.
Like many parents, she found herself looking for resources that were not only educational, but also meaningful, engaging and easy to use. She wanted stories that children would genuinely want to hear, activities that encouraged creativity rather than simply keeping little hands busy, and learning experiences that could fit naturally into the rhythm of everyday family life.
That idea eventually became Krafty Kiddies.
Today, Purva creates original storybooks, audio-based storytelling experiences, activity books and creative activity boxes designed for young children. Her stories explore values such as kindness, empathy, friendship, responsibility, honesty and generosity, while her activities encourage children to colour, create, solve, imagine, experiment and express themselves.
At the heart of her work is a simple belief:
Learning doesn't always have to look like learning.
Sometimes it looks like a bedtime story.
Sometimes it looks like getting messy with colours and clay.
Sometimes it sounds like a story being narrated through a QR code.
Sometimes it is a child proudly showing you something they created all by themselves.
Through Krafty Kiddies, Purva hopes to make these little moments easier for parents, caregivers and educators, while giving children opportunities to develop creativity, confidence, curiosity and a genuine love for learning.
Her experience as an educator influences every product she creates. Her experience as a mother keeps her grounded in what families actually need. Her background in marketing helps her understand how to communicate ideas. And her love for writing and storytelling brings everything together.
Krafty Kiddies is, in many ways, a reflection of Purva's own journey - from marketer to educator, from storyteller to author, and from teacher to mother.
And the journey is only beginning.
Her vision is to build Krafty Kiddies into a world where stories spark conversations, creativity becomes a part of everyday childhood, and learning feels less like a task and more like an adventure.
Because childhood goes by quickly.
And the little stories, messy creations, curious questions and moments of discovery along the way are the ones worth holding on to.
